Providing a safe and healthy workplace environment is essential for any employer, but all the more so when your work involves heavy equipment and burning hot asphalt and tar. Burnaby Blacktop is very proud to have received high marks on it’s recent BC Construction safety Alliance Audit and to have been awarded the Certificate of Recognition in confirmation of our having met and exceeded the high standards of this

Specifically, BCCSA has now completed the COR™ Quality Assurance (QA) activities for Burnaby Blacktop Ltd.’s 2018 Small COR™Health & Safety Certification audit.

COR™ A National  Occupational Health and Safety Accreditation Program.

The Certificate of Recognition program (COR™) is an occupational health and safety accreditation program that verifies a fully implemented safety & health program which meets national standards. The goal of the COR™ program is to empower employers with effective safety and health management system designed to reduce incidents, accidents and injuries. Reaching the standards of the COR™ program helps companies avoid costly human and financial costs associated with workplace injuries. Burnaby Blacktop’s management is proud to have achieved this high safety standard and are grateful to our employees and team leaders for bringing a great safety first attitude to every project we work on.
