Education Requirement:

High School

Experience Required:

At least 12 months of experience as a Dump Truck Driver

Qualification:

Valid Driver’s License is required – Class I
Should have good eye-hand coordination and great driving skills
High level of alertness and concentration
Should have great communication skills (English)
Must live within commutable distance of our office in Burnaby
Must be able to work with projects around Lower Mainland with minimum supervision

Skills:

Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job
Happy working in a team environment
Must be willing to work flexible hours
Able to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed
Effective in time management

Responsibilities:

Pickup and delivery of grade materials and HMA from locations in Lower Mainland
Engage and dump into pavers, pushed by pavers
Maintain a good driving record
Light maintenance and other light duties
Transport loads from one place to another
Check material weight and work with other equipment operators
Ensure that the truck is clean and in good condition by doing daily checks and pre and post trip inspection
Deliver materials on time
Maintain a good driving record
Able to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed
Follow instructions and work as part of a team

Work Hours:

9 a.m - 5 p.m
