Class 1 Dump Truck Driver

Pay: Hourly wage – based on experience

Description:

Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves hauling aggregates, asphalt, and materials to and from job sites while working closely with field crews and dispatch.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a dump truck driver

Qualification:

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license
• Transfer (pup) experience is an asset
• Strong knowledge of local routes and job site conditions
• Clean driving abstract
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Ability to work long hours and varying shifts as required

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

• Operate Class 1 dump trucks safely and efficiently
• Haul materials to job sites, plants, and yards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate with dispatch, foremen, and site supervisors
• Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations
• Assist on-site when required
